It has been a constant effort for me to either go handle-less or create innovative handle details. It is now almost an obsessive-compulsive disorder!
While the most interesting details have been achieved with ply and veneer offsets , there have been a lot of materials we have been experimenting with!

It is interesting to note how interesting niches can be created in wood to create camouflaged handles.
Profile hardware is fixed here to create the handle for a kitchen counter.
Simple cuts can be created in the veneer, either along the length of the entire shutter or in parts to create various eclectic designs.
Another one of my all-time favorites is this detail with a groove handle and a bottom ledge, A small 1 watt LED at the junction of the handles, lights up a shiny material which is the backdrop of the niche in this wardrobe, it may alternatively be replaced by any other interesting color.
A unique handle detail was created for this project in a solid surface finish to look like a peel revealing veneer detail under it, the side tables have a single peel to complement the design.

Various combinations and details are possible for top shutters and bottom drawers. For top cabinets, extending the shutter by approx. 20mm or creating a chamfered edge shutter are popular details.

Statement handles – either sculptural or chunky colored handles always add a different character to any given space. Below is a carefully crafted handle in wood and metal inlay which complements the ceiling as well as the wallpaper design.
