Our discerning clients, a family of avid travellers and construction experts, sought a fusion of fine art, culture, and human design driven by new interior design trends. They sought a home that reflected these values: a visually enriching atmosphere that fostered well-being.
Principal Architect Suhani Lal Sanghra envisioned a grounded, healthy space that marries the city’s vibrancy with the serenity of nature. Through careful spatial planning, we transformed this spacious 1800 sq ft. apartment into a warm, inviting urban retreat.
An Earthy Palette: The Soul of Ombre Home’s Design
What materials connect us to the earth? For Ombre Home, we adopted a design language centred on natural materials and soft curves. This created a grounded, humble aesthetic throughout.
Beautiful wood, rich terracotta, and warm Tandur stone form the core palette for the entire home. We enriched these earthy surfaces with subtle brass infusions to add a delicate glow as daylight shifts. Linking every room with tactile cohesion is the continuous flooring of brick inlay and polished Tandur stone, which runs throughout. This thoughtful material selection defines the rather unique apartment interior design of Ombre Home.

As you enter this exquisite home, a sophisticated, bent brass detail in the console will immediately catch your eye. Step into the living room to find BĒSŌ furniture, custom-made from ash wood, concrete, brass, and wicker—a striking blend of tradition and modern flair.
Notice how a vibrant, hand-painted terracotta mural by Jamnalal Kumbhar perfectly fits the main wall, while the fabric-sandwiched partition elegantly separates the family sit-out. Even the study nook, built with ash wood and brass pieces, complements this distinct apartment interior design.
Conversely, the kitchen space, microtopped in dark grey, features a bold terracotta scoop. These curated elements reflect current new interior design trends and foster personalised, immersive experiences.

The attached master toilet surprises with the micro-topped grey walls, leaf-shaped blue mosaic tiles, and a handcrafted concrete basin.
The same humble palette extends to the parents’ bedroom; terracotta and grey finishes meet brass inlay, framed by hand-painted local artwork. The daughter’s room, with particular emphasis on playfulness and practicality, features a multifunctional low platform and layered bed back.
