The contoured site allows an interesting plan in split levels with a sunken living area extending  right into the landscape . The Southwest of the bungalow is protected by a fibre screen , creating a shade and an interesting interplay of light and shadow at the same time  . The screen follows through to cover all the services pipelines as well . The angular design language reflects into the interior  details in the form of cantilevered sit out spaces.

Light and shadow patterns have been extensively used to create dramatic patterns and light effects in the day as well as the night.
